Family Practitioner Joins Great River Women’s Health

Family practitioner Hannah Heckart, M.D., recently joined Great River Women’s Health. She is accepting new appointments for female family medicine and obstetrics/gynecology patients.

A native of Danville, Iowa, Dr. Heckart received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska. She completed an advanced four-year rural training program in family medicine at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Heckart is certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Great River Women’s Health provides a full scope of gynecologic, obstetric and family medicine care for women. All of the clinic’s physicians are board certified, and midwifery care is provided to low-risk obstetric patients. Other services include:

  • Annual examinations
  • Preventive gynecology
  • Routine gynecologic care

Great River Women’s Health also will offer a physician clinic on Mondays in Keokuk, Iowa, beginning Sept. 8.
