Great River Health Systems Employees Take Regional, State Positions
April 3, 2002 – Three Great River Health Systems employees recently began serving on regional and state committees.
Lelia Wilkerson, manager of Heritage Medical Equipment and Supplies, was elected secretary of the 2002-2003 board of directors for the Midwest Association for Medical Equipment Services at its spring convention in Overland Park, Kan.
Nancy Coulter, Infection Control coordinator at Great River Medical Center, is president-elect of the Eastern Iowa Chapter of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control. The association works to improve health through infection-control and epidemiology activities.
Sheila Brune, R.N., director of Utilization Review and the Living History program at Great River Medical Center, was appointed to the research committee of the Iowa Organization of Nurse Leaders. The organization promotes the use of research and research processes to evaluate the effectiveness of care-delivery strategies and structures.
