Financial Contributors
Financial contributions help support the programs and projects of Great River Medical Center. Projects include:
- Art for patient rooms
- Burlington Public Library’s Babies Need Books program
- Furniture
- Minibus for hospital shuttle service
- Playground equipment at Kid Zone Childcare Center for employees’ children
- Smoke alarms for the Southeast Iowa SAFE KIDS Coalition
- Supplies for knitted/crocheted newborn hats and booties
- Volunteer uniforms
- Walkway around the campus lake
- Wheelchairs
Great River Friends members who make donations through membership contributions or the Love Tree are invited to a recognition event held each spring.
Life Membership
Life memberships to the hospital’s former auxiliary are still honored. Life memberships to Great River Friends are available for a one-time donation of $100 per person.
