Volunteer Categories
Adult
Volunteers 18 and older are adult volunteers. Volunteers in this category may volunteer year round throughout Great River Health Systems. This category includes college students pursuing volunteer experience.
Junior Volunteen
Volunteers ages 14 through 17 are Junior Volunteens. Great River Health Systems' Junior Volunteen Program runs for eight weeks every summer. All applicants must be 14 by June 1 to be eligible. The application deadline is Thursday, April 1. Junior Volunteens may extend their volunteer experience beyond the summer on request.
Virtual Volunteer
Our virtual volunteers provide volunteer support while at home. This category encompasses volunteers who knit and crochet baby caps from home with no formal role on campus.
