Great River Health Systems Offers Free Clinic for Area Coaches

Staff from Great River Health Systems will provide a free clinic for all sports and coaching levels from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics, 1401 W. Agency Road, West Burlington, Iowa.

Clinic topics and speakers are:

• Concussions – Mandy Borchers, M.S., ATC, CSCS
• Heat stroke and hydration – Andy Niemann, M.S., ATC
• Yoga for athletes – Emily Eull, ATC

This clinic counts as one renewal activity for the Iowa Coaching Authorization. Registration is required; deadline is Wednesday, July 25. To register or for more information, call Great River Corporate Education at 319-768-4070.
