Great River Health Systems Offers Free Coaches Clinic

Great River Health Systems will present a free clinic for coaches at all levels from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, in the Blackhawk Room at Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics, 1401 W. Agency Rd., West Burlington.

Clinic speakers are sports medicine orthopedic surgeon Atiba Jackson, M.D., from Great River Orthopedic Specialists, and certified athletic trainers and High Performance Program staff from Great River Center for Rehab and Clinics. 

Coaches clinic topics include:

• Concussion
• Lower-leg injuries
• Spine boarding
• Basic first aid
• In-season training
