Great River Medical Center Auxiliary Announces Scholarship Recipients
May 17, 2002 – The Great River Medical Center Auxiliary has awarded scholarships to 13 area students who are pursuing college degrees in health-related fields. The 2002-2003 school-year recipients are:

Sara Marquardt, Mediapolis, Iowa; nursing, Southeastern Community College (SCC)
Matthew Moore, Burlington, Iowa; medicine, Creighton University
Sarah Schuff, West Burlington; nursing, SCC
Nichole Twedt, West Burlington, exercise science/physician assistant, University of Iowa
High-school graduates:
Sarah Brokaw, Stronghurst, Ill.; radiologic technology, Quincy University
Justin Brueck, Burlington; biology/premedical, Central College
Emily Butler, Burlington; premedical, University of Iowa
Ashley Gulick, Danville, Iowa; physics/premedical, University of Iowa or SCC

Each year, the Great River Medical Center Auxiliary accepts and reviews scholarship applications for students who wish to pursue health-care careers. Scholarship applications for high-school seniors are available in the counseling offices at area high schools.
