Great River Medical Center Recognizes Service Heroes

May 20, 2008 – Four people who work in the Great River Medical Center’s Acute Care Center were named EXCEL Service Heroes. They are:

• Don Harris, certified nursing assistant
• Theresa Hillman, certified nursing assistant
• Teesa Kershner, registered nurse
• Roy Patterson, registered nurse

Great River Health Systems regularly recognizes employees who demonstrate actions that extend beyond routine, expected employee behavior. Criteria for the service hero award are based on the health system’s philosophy of care. EXCEL stands for Enthusiastically friendly, X-ceeding expectations, Caring and compassion, Energetic teamwork, and Leadership and professionalism.
