June 25, 2001 – Denise Johnson, R.N., has been named Great River Medical Center’s Employee of the Month. Johnson, of Burlington, began working in the hospital’s Transitional Care Unit in August 2000 after graduating from Southeastern Community College’s nursing program. She transferred to the Surgical Services Department in April.
