Great River Medical Center Wins National Medical Marketing Awards
August 1, 2007 – Great River Medical Center recently received two Aster Awards recognizing communications efforts by the hospital’s Public Relations Department.
The Aster Awards are sponsored by Marketing Healthcare Today magazine and Creative Images Inc. The elite competition recognizes the nation’s most talented health-care professionals for outstanding excellence in medical marketing. Great River Medical Center was recognized for the following projects:
• 2007 Employee Calendar – This publication received a Gold Aster Award. Approximately 5 percent of the entries received a gold award. The calendar features photographs taken by Great River Health Systems employees.
• Web site – Great River Health Systems’ Web site (www.greatrivermedical.org) received a Silver Aster Award. About 12 percent of the entries received a silver award.
Approximately 3,000 entries were received for this year’s Aster Awards competition. Entries were judged on creativity, layout and design, typography, production quality, knowledge transfer and overall excellence.
