GRMC Auxiliary Makes Donation to Hospital
May 9, 2001 – Great River Medical Center’s Auxiliary presented a check totalling $15,000 to hospital officials last Wednesday evening at the auxiliary’s annual meeting. The donation will be used to complete a walkway around the lake on the hospital campus.
The walkway not only will add to the enjoyment of the lake by employees and the public, but it also will be used for patient therapy. The total cost to complete the walkway is estimated at $50,000. The remainder of the construction cost will be donated over the next two years.
Outgoing auxiliary President Clara Zoeller presented the check to Ron Halligan, vice president of Human Resources at Great River Medical Center.
“We are very proud of our donation to Great River Medical Center,” Zoeller said. “No project is too small where health and caring are concerned.”
