Dr. Huston Becomes Emergency Medicine Diplomate
January 27, 2004 – Emergency medicine physician Craig Huston, M.D., recently was certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He joined Great River Medical Centerís medical staff in 2002.
Dr. Huston received his medical degree from the University of Iowa, and completed his residency at Cook County Hospital, Chicago.
The American Board of Emergency Medicine is one of 24 medical specialty boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Since 1980, the ABEM has administered the Emergency Medicine certification for physicians who meet credentialing requirements.
