Surgical Services
Great River Medical Center is home to one of the area's most comprehensive and active outpatient and inpatient surgical services. The hospital's Surgical Services Department includes eight fully equipped surgical suites, two endoscopy suites, an outpatient surgery unit and surgical recovery unit. Surgical specialties supported at the hospital include: ear, nose and throat; general surgery; gynecologic; ophthalmologic; oral and maxillofacial; orthopedic, pediatric; trauma; and urologic. Arthroscopic and laparoscopic procedures are available.
Hours of operation: Main Surgery – 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays; Day Surgery – 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekdays; Endoscopy – 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays; Postanesthesia Care Unit – 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays
