Internal Application Procedures
  • Human Resources and the hiring manager of the hiring department will review the personnel files of applicants who meet minimum qualifications. Files include initial employment applications, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and attendance records. Current supervisors will be contacted for information about applicants� knowledge, skill, ability and job performance, and demonstration of the GRHS Service Standards, EXCEL values and other characteristics.
  • Employees should complete the probationary period (520 hours) for their current position before applying for a transfer or promotion to another position.
  • The Internal Application Form must be completed thoroughly for consideration.
  • Employees may attach resumes to their applications if the hiring manager or supervisor is unfamiliar with their work.
  • Employees who are interviewed and notified that they were not hired for the position may contact the hiring manager for feedback.
